I changed my diet in 2007 after experiencing health challenges for years! All through my teens, my 20s, 30s and early into my 40s I always struggled with bouts of feeling depressed, lethargic, intolerant to certain foods and more. In a nutshell I had ups and downs and hated that my moods were not consistent. Some days I felt like a million bucks, other days I couldn’t even get out of bed.
In 2007 I (finally!) made the connection between the food that I ate and my mood. I hit rock bottom in 2007 (oh, and it happened at my birthday party!) and the connection was undeniable. After that day, I experimented with various diets and to make a long story short, I create an ‘Almost Raw’ Vegan approach, which for me was a god sent! Eating ‘Almost Raw’ Vegan ended my lethargy, ended my food intolerances, ended my grumpiness, and left me feeling more positive & energized than ever before. I also landed an amazing glowing complexion, brighter eyes, clarity of mind and a whole lot more.
I felt better than I had EVER felt in my entire life! Yup, my entire life!
I was so excited by my new found ‘Almost Raw’ Vegan approach that I just had to tell the world. Even if I were to help just one person, that would be enough for me. I just felt the need to share with others, in hopes that they too would discover that an ‘Almost Raw’ Vegan diet was healing and energizing beyond words!
Starting my AlmostRawVegan.com blog changed everything for me, and set me on the path I am on today – where I just love helping people turn bodies into lean, energized, healthy machines!
