Cacao Energizing Smoothie is also the PERFECT beginner green smoothie!
Delicious cold and even more delicious warmed, it’s sure to hit the spot! A great starter smoothie that the whole family will LOVE!
Ingredients ~ Cacao Energizing Smoothie:
- 3 cups water
- 1 banana
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- 1/4 cup raw almond butter
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
- 1 tablespoons coconut oil
- 4 pitted Medjool dates
- 3-4 big handfuls of spinach
Instructions: Place all the ingredients in your blender. If you have a high-speed Blendtec, simply press the Smoothie Button, otherwise blend on slow speed, then gradually increase the speed until smooth.
Have a hankering for Warm Cacao?: If you have a high-speed Blendtec blender, simply press the soup button instead of the smoothie button and you will have a wonderfully warm/hot cacao treat! It will take about 90 seconds to heat up, pretty darn quick isn’t it? One of the wonderful benefits of owning a high-speed blender!
If you don’t have a high speed blender, you can put in a pot on the stove, heat through and serve.
