Here is my Easy Peasy 3 STEP APPROACH to ACHIEVE your health & wellness GOALS by adopting an almost raw vegan approach!

STEP 3:  ADD Plant-Based Whole Foods MEALS to your Day!

As amazing as green smoothies are, they are just one piece of the puzzle when it comes to your wellness! Your journey to improved health and weight loss will be MUCH more EFFECTIVE if you combine your green smoothie regime with Almost Raw Vegan whole food, plant-based meals for lunch, dinner, snack & sweet.

The ARV approach to eating includes a foundation of dark leafy greens with lots of fresh vegetables, some fruits, topped with protein rich sprouts and legumes, a few nuts & seeds, nut butters followed by herbs, microgreens, sea vegetables, wheatgrass and finally a dabble of healthy oils and nutritional yeast….. the ideal combination for improved health.

Green smoothies are excellent, but if the rest of your day is filled with fast foods, chips, cakes, candies, processed foods, your body will not be happy and you will not experience the benefits of delicious plant-based meals.

My philosophy is simple ~ focus on ADDING healthy food vs. thinking about what you shouldn’t be eating. Keep it positive!

Here some INSIGHT & TIPS on what an Almost Raw Vegan regime looks like any given day:

  1. Drink Green Smoothies every morning for breakfast – infuse your body with nutrients first thing in the morning! Your body will love you for it!
  2. Enjoy a BIG Green Salad at lunch,~ whether at work, home or school! Enjoy leafy greens, vegetables with sprouts (a great protein source), legumes and a bit of avocado. The perfect combo for a super delicious & nutritious salad topped with one of my easy peasy dreamy dressings (vs. store bought) OR combine last nights dinner leftovers with greens for an easy peasy lunch-time salad!
  3. Enjoy a snack of Veggies or Crackers with Hummus or Salsa or enjoy a handfull of my home made Granola
  4. Enjoy an Almost Raw Vegan Dinner. Try a new recipe each and every week! And always include a green salad and try sweet potatoes or quinoa or brown rice (vs. white potato, white rice).
  5. Enjoy Sweet Potato Brownies or Cashew Chews to curb your sweet tooth!

Be mindful about your choices, read lables, take time to understand what you are feeding your body, and start making healthier meal choices. Before you know it, you will move from a high-fat, high-sugar, processed foods diet to a whole food plant-based approach and your body WILL SHED pounds.
