This is a very easy, tasty and nutritious salad. It’s high in vitamins A and C, the sesame seeds add a good source of calcium, and it also offers a nice portion of protein. All in all simple, yummy & nutrient rich!
- 1/2 head cabbage, sliced very thinly
- 3 carrots, grated
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
Add all ingredients to bowl, toss. I like to let it marinade for a while to let the flavours meld together.
